Lettuce Cheeseburger

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground Beef
  • 1/2 tsp Seasoned Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp dried Oregano
  • 4 slices American Cheese
  • 1 large heads Iceberg or Romaine lettuce
  • 2 Tomatoes, sliced thin
  • 1 Red onion, sliced thin (optional)

Spread

  • 1/4 cup Mayo
  • 3 Tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp Dill Pickle Relish

Instructions

  1. Heat grill or skillet on medium heat.
  2. In large bowl, mix together Beef, Salt, Pepper, and Oregano.
  3. Divide mixture into 6 sections and form patties.
  4. Place patties on grill/pan and cook for approximately 4 minutes on each side or until done. 
  5. Place a slice of cheese on each cooked burger. 
  6. Mix spread ingredients together in small bowl. 
  7. Place burgers on a large piece of Lettuce. Top with Spread, slice of Tomato, and red Onion. Wrap the lettuce up over the top and Enjoy!

Nutrition: 4 servings; 440 calories, 5gm net carbs, 34gm protein.
